Our office is tucked away in the R Square Building, specifically Office No 308 at Warje Ambika Niketan. It’s a bit different from a garage because we spend more time on the phone and looking at technical drawings than actually turning wrenches. At Wahler Automotive Pvt Ltd, we deal with the parts and the logistics of the automotive world. From our window, we can see the traffic moving through Athwa Lines, which is always a reminder of why we are in this business. The desks are usually covered in catalogs, invoices, and part samples that have been sent for inspection. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except for the sound of keyboards and the occasional loud discussion about a shipment that’s stuck somewhere. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees in suits. We’re just a small team working out of this office to make sure the right components get to the right places. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, or the air conditioning struggles on a hot afternoon, but we just keep at it. Most of my day is spent checking emails and making sure our records are updated correctly. It’s steady, office-based work that keeps the wheels of the industry turning in our own small way. We don't have a big showroom; we just have our desks and our expertise in the parts we handle.
