Our office is tucked away at S No 14/13 in Belthikanagar, which is part of the Thergaon area in Pune. If you have ever tried to drive through Pune during peak hours, you know exactly how the traffic gets around here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at shipping documents because the import and export business never really stops. The space we have is simple and does the job. It is mostly desks, filing cabinets, and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We handle a variety of goods coming in and out, and there is always a lot of paperwork to clear before anything can actually move. The staff usually brings their own lunch, and we eat together when things quiet down for a bit in the afternoon. It is not a quiet job by any means. There is always someone coming in or a driver calling about a delay at the port. We try to keep things organized, but in this business, things change fast. Being in 411033 means we are right in the middle of a busy neighborhood, so there is always a bit of life outside the window. We just focus on the daily tasks, making sure the orders are logged and the crates are where they need to be. It’s honest work and keeps us all pretty occupied from Monday to Saturday.
