V.M. Woodcadd Designing Services Pvt. Ltd. is located right in the heart of Sadashiv Peth. If you know Pune at all, you know this area is full of narrow lanes and very old buildings. We are at 892-A, just off Kumthekar Road. It is a very traditional part of town, so parking can be a real headache most days, but we manage to make it work. We have been focusing on our design work from this spot for quite some time now. The building itself is not anything modern or shiny. It is just a standard, practical space where we can sit and get our drawings and CAD work finished. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, especially in the late evenings when everyone is out shopping on Kumthekar Road. We are not a big corporate firm with hundreds of employees and fancy boardrooms. It is a smaller team here. We spend a lot of time on our computers, making sure the designs are right before they go out to anyone. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have some fans going and we keep the windows open when the dust from the street is not too bad. We like being in Sadashiv Peth because it feels like the real, old Pune. Most of the people working here have been with us for a long time. You just walk in and see us working at our desks. It is a simple setup that works for the kind of stuff we do every day.
