Vitronics

Vitronics is situated at 43 Electronics Estate, right off the Pune-Satara Road. Being in an industrial estate means we’re surrounded by other businesses doing similar work, so there’s always a bit of a hum in the air from machinery or delivery trucks. It’s not the most scenic location, but for the kind of electronic work we do, it’s exactly where we need to be. The building is solid and functional, with plenty of room for our workbenches and all the tools we use daily. We spend a lot of our time looking at small components and soldering things together, so it’s a lot of quiet, focused work. Sometimes we have the radio playing in the background just to break the silence. The Pune-Satara Road is always busy, so we usually try to time our arrivals and departures to miss the worst of the traffic, though it doesn't always work out. Inside, the office part is pretty basic—just some desks, a few filing cabinets, and a very old calendar on the wall that nobody has bothered to change. We aren't into fancy décor or trying to impress anyone with a posh lobby. We just want a space where we can do our jobs without being interrupted. Most of us have been here long enough that the place feels like a second home, even with the flickering fluorescent lights and the smell of hot metal. It’s just how it is.
