You can find us at Karve Nagar 18-B. The office is a bit of a mix between an architect's studio and an interior design shop. Because we do both, the space is always crowded with all sorts of things. One corner might have a stack of bricks or tile samples, while another is filled with rolls of architectural drawings and technical manuals. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is, mostly. We have a few desks where we do the computer work and a large table in the middle for when we need to look at things together. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is nice when we need to concentrate on a complicated floor plan. We don't have a fancy lobby or any marketing people. It’s just us working through the day-to-day tasks of designing spaces. Sometimes we spend hours just talking about where a light switch should go or how a door should swing. It’s small-scale work that requires a lot of attention. The kettle is almost always on, and we usually have some drawings spread out that we are still trying to figure out. We like being in Karve Nagar; it’s a good spot for a local business like ours. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the plans and the designs and making sure they make sense for the people using them.
