We are based at 168 Market Yard in Gultekdi. If you’ve ever been to the yard, you know how chaotic it can be. There are carts and trucks everywhere, and everyone is in a hurry to get their business done. Our space is basically a big warehouse where we store all our goods. We deal with trading, so we are constantly moving stock in and out. It’s a lot of lifting and counting every day. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just stacks of crates and bags piled high toward the ceiling. We spend most of our time on the phone with suppliers or checking the stuff that arrives on the trucks. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from the pallets being moved around by the workers. It’s a loud place to work, especially when the main market auctions are happening nearby. We’ve been in Gultekdi for a while now and have seen a lot of other businesses come and go. We just try to keep our heads down and do the work. The paperwork is done on a small desk in the corner that’s usually covered in invoices and tea cups. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable guys who know how the yard works. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do.
