You’ll find us on the first floor of Soba Market. We are right near the Pasodya Vithoba Mandir in Budhwar Peth. It’s a busy area, always a lot of noise and people moving around. We trade in electrical supplies, so we have boxes of switches, wires, and bulbs stacked up everywhere. The shelves are pretty high and sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble to find exactly what a customer needs. We’ve been in this market for years. It’s not a shiny store with bright lights. It’s a trading spot. We talk to contractors and shopkeepers all day long. Sometimes we drink tea while we figure out an order. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not what we're here for. We just want to move the goods. Budhwar Peth is the heart of the city for this kind of stuff. If we don't have it, we usually know who does. My nephew helps me with the heavy lifting and the stock taking. It gets hot in the summer with all the boxes blocking the breeze, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a corporate giant. We are just local traders who know our wires and our neighbors. People come here because they know we are usually around when they need a specific fuse or a roll of wire. That’s just how we do things here.
