Down in Hinjawadi at number 254, you’ll find our auto parts shop. It’s a busy area with a lot of traffic, so we see many people looking for quick fixes for their bikes or cars. The shop is filled with the smell of rubber and engine oil. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with everything from brake pads to spark plugs. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes because we’re constantly pulling boxes down to find the right part for a customer. I've been running this place with a helper for some years. We don't really do the repairs ourselves, we just provide the parts that the local mechanics need. The counter is made of heavy wood and has been scratched up over time by all the metal parts we've slid across it. We stay open pretty late because people often have car trouble on their way home from work. It’s a practical business. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. If you know what part you need, we probably have it tucked away somewhere. We keep a ledger to track what goes out. It’s not a high-tech operation, just a reliable source for auto components in this part of town. The commute here is tough, but once we’re open, it’s just one customer after another. We just try to keep the stock replenished so nobody leaves empty-handed.
