Vilas Garden Center

Vilas Garden Center is right in Bibwewadi at D-1/1. It’s a straightforward place where we keep all the plants, pots, and gardening supplies people need. If you walk in, you’ll see rows of different plants and bags of soil stacked up near the entrance. We spend most of our time outside or in the shed area, making sure everything stays watered and healthy in the sun. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly, and it never really ends. Our hands are usually dirty from the soil, and there is almost always a hose running somewhere in the background. People from the neighborhood come by to ask what grows well in this specific heat or to pick up some manure for their backyard patches. We don't have a big sales team or anyone in suits. It’s just us helping out when someone walks through the gate. Bibwewadi is a good spot for a garden center because people around here actually care about their plants and outdoor spaces. The shop isn't fancy, just a practical layout where we can find things easily for our customers. Some days are slow when the sun is too hot for anyone to be out, and other days everyone shows up at once wanting to start a new garden. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the plants alive as best as we can. We’ve been at D-1/1 for a while and know the local faces who stop by for their seasonal seeds.
