Vikramaaditya Sports And Cultural Activities Promotion Foundation

We are tucked away in Bibawewadi at S No 678, Plot No 45. The area is called Haripriya Sant Eknath Nagar 2. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually pretty peaceful around here. We started this foundation because we noticed there wasn't much going on for sports and culture in this specific part of town. Our office is basically a ground floor room in a house. We have some cricket bats leaning in the corner and some old trophies on a shelf. It’s not just about sports though. We try to get people together for cultural events and small festivals too. It’s a lot of organizing and calling people to see if they can help out. Most of us have other jobs, so we do this in our spare time or during the weekends. We aren't professionals at this. We just like seeing the kids in the neighborhood stay active. Sometimes we host small meetings in the yard if the weather is nice. People in Bibawewadi know where we are located. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just a board outside the front gate. We keep it simple. If someone wants to organize a match or a small festival, they come and talk to us. We see what we can do to make it happen. It’s about keeping the community moving. That's the main thing we do here at Vikramaaditya. It’s been a good journey so far.
