Vijaylaxmi Enterprises

We run Vijaylaxmi Enterprises out of Sakore Chandranagar Society, at 76/2. It is a bit unusual being in a residential area, but it works for us. We started small in one room and eventually took over a bit more space. We handle various electrical supplies and small contracting jobs for people in the neighborhood. Because we are in the society, we have to be careful not to make too much noise or block the driveways with our supplies. Most of the residents are our customers anyway, so they do not mind much. It is a family-run thing. My nephew helps with the deliveries, and I handle the billing and the sourcing. Our office is basically just a desk with a lot of catalogs and a computer that is a bit slow. We do not have a big storefront with glass windows. People usually just call us or knock on the door at 76/2 when they need something. It is a quiet way to do business. We have lived in this society for years, so we know everyone’s name and whose light switches are always acting up. We are not looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to provide for our families and help out the people nearby. It is a comfortable arrangement, and as long as the neighbors are happy, we are happy. We usually close up early on Saturdays to spend time with the kids.
