Vijay Sewing Machine Repair is located in the Bhagyashree Building over in Sambhajinagar. We are right on the Alandi Road, near where it meets the Bhosari and Sinhagad Road areas. It’s a busy intersection but we’ve managed to find a good spot in the building. As the name says, we fix sewing machines. We get all types coming in, from the old heavy cast-iron ones that have been in families for decades to the newer plastic ones that people use for their hobbies at home. The shop is full of tiny screws, bobbins, and needles. It can look like a mess to someone walking in, but we know exactly where every part is kept. Fixing a machine takes a lot of patience because you have to listen to the sound it makes to know what’s wrong with the timing or the motor. People bring their machines to us because they know we’ve been doing this for a long time. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s just a counter and a lot of workbenches in the back. Sometimes a repair is quick and other times we have to wait weeks for a specific part to arrive from a supplier. We try to be honest with everyone about how long it will take. If you’re on Alandi Road and your machine is acting up, just look for the Bhagyashree Building. We are usually there from morning until the evening, hunched over a machine with a screwdriver.
