Vijay Battery

We spend most of our time here at the shop in the Market Yard area of Bhandup Industrial Estate. It gets pretty loud around here with all the trucks and work going on at Pannalal. Vijay Battery has been in this spot for a while now. Most days start with opening up the shutters and seeing what came in overnight. It’s mostly just us handling batteries, checking connections, and making sure things are working right for whoever walks in. The floors get a bit dusty because of the industrial estate traffic, but that is just how it is. Sometimes people come in because their car won't start or they need something for their inverter at home. We just sit on the stools, have some tea from the stall nearby, and get to work. It is not a fancy place at all. You will see stacks of batteries everywhere and maybe some old cables lying around. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We don't really do big speeches or anything. If someone needs a battery or a quick check, we do it and they go on their way. It’s a simple routine that repeats every day from morning until we close up in the evening. There is always someone shouting across the yard or a horn honking, so it never gets too quiet. We just keep things moving here at the Pannalal side of the estate.
