Our place, Vijay Airconditioning, is located at B-130 in the Satyam Industrial Estate. We’re right opposite S.N.D.T. College, just off Karve Road in Erandwana. Being so close to the college means there’s always a lot of students walking around and a bit of energy in the air. The estate itself is quite busy, with all sorts of small businesses crammed together. We spend most of our time dealing with AC parts and scheduling people to go out for repairs. The office gets a bit cluttered with manuals and old toolboxes, but we know where everything is. It’s not a silent workplace; there’s usually someone shouting over a compressor or talking loudly on the phone to a supplier. We’ve been here in Pune for a while now, and the location works well for us even if the turn off Karve Road is easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights and carpets. It’s just a functional space where the work gets done. Most days, we’re just trying to keep up with the calls. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for years because they know the shop at B-130 is always open during the usual hours. It’s just honest work, keeping things cool for people who need it, without making a big deal out of it.
