Vihata Cement is based out of Bopodi in Pune. We are located in Parijat Apartment, specifically in flat number six on Bhau Patil Road. It’s a residential-style building that we use for our business operations. Dealing with cement means we are always looking at supply chains and delivery schedules. The road outside can get pretty congested with all the traffic coming from the city side, but it’s a good central spot for us. We've stayed in this apartment for a long time because it's convenient for the staff to get to. There isn't a showroom here or anything, just our office where we handle the orders and the accounts. Most of our day is spent talking to suppliers or checking on transport trucks. Pune is growing so fast that there is always a need for building materials, so we stay fairly busy throughout the year. The office has a few chairs for visitors and lots of filing cabinets for the records. We don't use much fancy software, just the basic stuff to keep things running. Sometimes the rain in July makes the commute a bit of a mess, but we still show up. It’s a small team here, so we all know each other well. If you are looking for us, look for the Parijat sign on the main road. We’re just regular folks trying to keep the cement business moving along as smoothly as possible. We keep a teapot going for most of the afternoon.
