Vidya Valley Foundation

We are located at Plot No 137 in the Sindh Co-operative Housing Society. It is a well-established society, and being on Plot 137 means we are tucked away in a spot that’s relatively quiet. The neighborhood has a lot of trees and older houses, which gives it a nice, settled feeling. Our foundation operates out of a space here that’s more like a home than an office. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a bunch of assistants. It’s usually just a couple of us around the table, working through whatever needs to be done that day. The society is safe and peaceful, which we appreciate. Sometimes you can hear the birds in the trees or the sound of someone gardening nearby. We’ve been in this location for a while, and we’ve become part of the local fabric of the society. We don't spend much money on advertising or making our building look fancy. We’d rather just have a functional place to sit and think. The rooms are a bit small, and we have stacks of books and papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple way to run things. We show up in the morning, make some tea, and get to work. That’s the daily life for us at Plot 137. It’s a comfortable, practical place that serves us well for what we do without any unnecessary frills.
