Located at Post Mhopre in the Karad Taluka. It's a bit of a drive from the main city of Pune, out here in Satara district. We deal with engineering stuff, mostly on a larger scale since we are a limited company, but it still feels like a local shop. The office is right there in the village area. It can get pretty quiet out here compared to the city. We have our routines and we stick to them. Most of the guys here are from around this area or nearby villages. We spend our mornings checking on things and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s a lot of back and forth with different sites. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially during the monsoon when the roads get muddy. But we manage. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just steady work that keeps the lights on. People know us in Mhopre. We’ve been part of the landscape for some time. There’s a sense of familiarity when you walk into the office. It smells like old paper and engine oil sometimes. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs and a table for meetings. If someone drops by, we usually have time for a quick chat. It’s just how things are done in this part of Satara. We focus on the work at hand and try not to get too ahead of ourselves. There is always a lot to do, so we just take it one day at a time.
