V B & Company is tucked away in the Lic Bldg, right there at 278/79 by Alka Talkies Chowk. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets, especially being right opposite the Kulkarni Petrol Pump on Laxmi Road. It is one of those classic Sadashiv Peth locations where space is tight and history is everywhere. Our office is filled with the sound of ceiling fans and the rustle of paper. We handle a lot of the boring but necessary paperwork that businesses need to stay on the right side of things. It’s mostly accounting and filing, nothing very flashy. The building itself has that old-school charm, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Most of us walk to work or take a scooter because parking near Alka Talkies is a real headache. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years. We watch shops open and close while we just keep doing our thing. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just help people with their books and make sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. People stop by for a chat as much as they do for business. It’s that kind of place. We’re just regular people working in a busy part of Pune and we like the routine of it all.
