Uttam Galva Steels Ltd.

The office is tucked away in Pruthviraj Nagar, right on Parasodi Road. We are based out of the space shared with V.P. Dhumale. It’s a quiet corner of Dhamangaon Rly, at least compared to the bigger cities. Being in the Amravati district means we see a lot of the local traffic coming from the railway side. Most of our day involves managing things for Uttam Galva Steels Ltd. It isn’t some big glass building; it is just a normal place where we keep our records and talk to people about their steel orders. Sometimes the trains go by and you can hear them in the distance while we are on the phone. We’ve got some chairs that have seen better days and a table that is always covered in folders. It’s just how it is when you’re busy with the day-to-day grind. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local news while we wait for the next delivery update. The road outside gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but that’s just part of life here. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just handle the steel business from this small spot in Maharashtra and keep things moving. People know where to find us if they need to talk about a shipment or check on some paperwork. It is a simple life and we are okay with that.
