Usha Chemicals

You can find Usha Chemicals over in Pune at the Bhosari Industrial Estate. We are specifically located at T-58, Gala No.36, inside the Rajmata Industrial Co-Op Society. It’s a big estate and there are hundreds of businesses like ours around, all doing different things. We focus on chemicals, mostly for industrial use. The "gala" is basically our workshop and storage space all in one. It’s often quite hot in there, especially in the summer months, but we just get on with it. We’ve been part of the Rajmata society for a while now. Most of our day involves handling drums, checking labels, and making sure the chemical compositions are right for whatever the customer needs. Bhosari is a very industrial part of Pune, so it’s always loud with trucks and machinery, which we’ve gotten used to. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that; it’s just a few of us making sure the products are made and shipped on time. Sometimes we run into delays with the raw materials, but we try to manage. It's a straightforward business. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to provide consistent chemicals that work for the people who buy them. The space is a bit cramped with all the equipment and containers, but it’s home for us during the work week. We know the neighbors well and we all help each other out whenever someone is short on a specific tool or needs a hand.
