We’ve been working out of this space in Chinchwad for a while now. It’s located in Bldg. No. 22, Room No. 11, right inside the Iibr Hostel area. If you know Pune, you probably know where the Tata Motors plant is on Chikhli Road. We are just opposite that. It’s a busy spot, mostly industrial, so there’s always something moving around. Most of us here just focus on getting the paperwork done and keeping the logistics side of things running without too much fuss. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything. It's just a practical room where we handle the day-to-day work for Unitex Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. The neighborhood, Purnanagar, is pretty straightforward. You see people coming and going from the hostel and the factories all day long. Sometimes the road gets a bit crowded with trucks, which makes sense given where we are. We just keep our heads down and deal with the shipments. Dealing with logistics in a place like Pune means you get used to the traffic and the noise. We’ve set up our desk in Room 11 and that’s where the magic happens, if you can call organizing cargo magic. It’s mostly just a lot of phone calls and checking schedules. We don’t really do big advertisements. People usually find us because they need something moved and we happen to be right here in the middle of the hub.
