Unique Sanitaryware

Over in Yerwada at number 58, you’ll find Unique Sanitaryware. We’ve been here for a while, dealing with sinks, toilets, and all the plumbing bits that go along with them. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the washbasins and commodes. It’s a lot of porcelain and heavy lifting, so you’ll usually see us with dusty clothes and maybe some grease on our hands from moving parts around. We aren't the type of place that spends money on big advertisements or a fancy website. People mostly find us because they live nearby or someone told them we have what they need. We talk to plumbers, contractors, and homeowners every day, and each one has a different problem they’re trying to solve. Sometimes we don't have the exact part in stock and we have to order it, which takes a few days, and we just tell people that straight up. There’s no point in making promises we can't keep. Yerwada is a lively place to work, and our spot at 58 is right in the thick of it. We like the grit and the daily grind of the business. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up the shutters at night. We don’t have any plans to change how we do things. The shop has its own rhythm, and we’ve gotten used to the noise and the dust.
