Unique Courier

Our shop is over in Somwar Peth on Chikhali Road in Chinchwad, specifically at 431/102. It’s a small corner of the neighborhood where we handle parcels and letters for everyone around here. The space is mostly filled with shelves that have boxes waiting to be picked up or sent out. We have a counter that’s seen better days and a scale that we use for everything. Chikhali Road can get quite dusty so we are always wiping down the surfaces. It’s a busy part of Chinchwad so there are always people walking by or stopping in for a quick question. We don’t use any fancy tracking software, just a basic system and our handwritten logs. Sometimes the delivery van is late because of the traffic in Somwar Peth and we have to explain that to the customers. We have a small stool behind the counter where we sit when there’s a break in the foot traffic. The ceiling fan wobbles a little but it keeps the air moving. We pack things using whatever scraps of cardboard we can find to make sure they are safe. Unique Courier is a simple operation and we don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. We’re just here to make sure the packages get where they need to go from our little spot in Chinchwad. We usually close up right on time unless someone is running late with a last-minute delivery. There is a small tea stall nearby where we go when things are slow.
