Unik Gauges & Tools

Our shop is tucked away at Survey No. 36/1/1 in Wadgaon Khurd, right behind Hotel Green Field on Sinhagad Road. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not looking for it, but we have been here for a good while now. Most days are spent hunched over the benches dealing with gauges and various tools. It is a bit of a dusty environment and the machines make a fair amount of noise, but that is just how the work goes. We do not have any fancy office space or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you will just find a few of us in greasy clothes making sure the measurements are right. Sinhagad Road stays busy with traffic, so being behind the hotel gives us a little bit of peace to focus on the precision stuff. We started out with just a couple of machines and slowly added more as we needed them. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes the older equipment acts up and we have to spend half the morning fixing it, which can be frustrating, but we manage. We just take the orders as they come and try to stay on top of the pile. It is a simple setup where everyone knows what they are supposed to do without being told. We mostly just drink our tea and get back to the metalwork.
