Uma Jakhauli Memorable And Charitable Foundation

Our foundation is based out of Flat No. A-1 / 102 in the 'Sai Canary' building. It’s located at Sr No. 42, covering Hissa No. 6, 7, 8, and 9. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the main roads. We like the peace and quiet here. It helps us focus on what we are doing. The flat is basically our office now. We’ve moved most of the furniture out to make room for desks and storage boxes. It still feels like a home, though. There is a small kitchen where we make way too much tea during the day. Uma Jakhauli Memorable And Charitable Foundation was started to keep a memory alive, and we try to honor that every day. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one on the door. Most of our visitors are neighbors or people who heard about us through friends. The building has a nice courtyard where we sometimes sit if the weather is good. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear casual clothes and talk like normal people. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up walking the stairs, which is fine. We just want to do some good work without making a big deal out of it. It’s a small operation, but we put a lot of heart into it. It feels like we are doing something that matters.
