Udyamsheel India Foundation

Udyamsheel India Foundation is over at Plot 22 in the Chintamani Sahanivas area of Vijaynagar. We are right in front of the Mahanagarpalika Aarogyakendra, which is the local health center. Being near a health center means there is always a lot of activity on our street. People are coming and going all day long. We chose this spot in Vijaynagar because it’s easy for people to find. The word Udyamsheel is all about being industrious and hardworking, and that is what we try to encourage around here. We don't have a corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, you’ll just find us sitting around a table trying to figure out how to help someone start a small business or get some work. The Chintamani Sahanivas building is a regular residential and commercial mix, so it feels very much like a part of the neighborhood. We see the people waiting at the health center and it reminds us why it’s important to have foundations that actually stay on the ground. We aren't interested in making big speeches. We just want to see people in Vijaynagar getting ahead by using their own skills. It’s a modest setup on Plot 22, but we have enough space to meet people and talk. If you are near the Aarogyakendra, you can’t miss us. It’s just a plain office where we do our daily work for the local community.
