We are located right on the Pune Nashik Road, specifically in the Dhavlewasti area of Bhosari. Being on a main road like this means there’s never a quiet moment. There are always trucks and cars zooming past, and a lot of them end up stopping here when their batteries give up. Our place is full of heavy black boxes and those orange charging cables. It’s often a bit greasy on the floor, but that’s just how it is when you’re dealing with vehicle parts all day. We spend a lot of time testing terminals and checking fluid levels. It’s satisfying when a dead engine finally clicks and roars to life after we swap out a battery. We don't have a waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around and chat while we work or go grab a snack nearby. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the morning, so we stay towards the back where it’s cooler. Sometimes it’s just one person coming in for a small bike battery, and other times it’s a whole fleet of vehicles needing a check. We’ve seen the road outside get wider and busier over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. Just batteries and tools and a lot of grease. The tea stall across the road is where we go for a break from the battery fumes when the afternoon gets too long because the smell gets quite strong.
