We’ve been here at Shivam Apartment for a good while now, right across from Shivarkar Garden. It's just a regular shop where we keep different types of furniture for people living around Wanworie and Fatima Nagar Road. Most days we are busy moving stuff around or helping someone pick out a cupboard or a new sofa set that fits their room. It isn't a massive showroom with fancy lights, but we have enough things to show you if you're looking to fix up your place. People usually stop by after a walk in the garden or when they're passing through on their way home. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the tables and chairs everywhere, but that’s just how it is when you’re trying to display everything. If you need a bed or a dining table, we probably have something that works for your house. We handle the deliveries ourselves most of the time, navigating the traffic on Fatima Nagar Road. It’s a local business and we know a lot of the neighbors by name now. It’s quiet in the mornings and then picks up in the evening when people finish work. We just do our job and make sure the furniture gets where it needs to go without too much fuss. It's been our spot for years and we’re quite used to the daily rhythm of this street and the people on it.
