If you know Maharashtra at all, you know this area is all about industry and factories. Being in 411 033 means we are right in the thick of it. It’s a noisy place with a lot of heavy vehicles passing by at all hours. Our space isn't something out of a magazine. It’s a functional office where we keep track of where everything is going. We’ve got computers and phones that never seem to stop ringing, and sometimes it feels like we’re just managing a giant puzzle. The weather gets hot and the office can feel a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just look at the manifests, talk to the transporters, and try to make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It’s a lot of routine work, but it’s important to the people who are waiting for their stuff. We’ve been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood change, though the workload stays pretty much the same. It’s just a group of us trying to stay organized in a very busy part of the country. We keep the files moving and the trucks loaded, that's about it.
