Tvs Logistics Ltd has a spot here in Chandan Nagar, over in Pune. If you live around the 411 014 area, you probably know the neighborhood. It's a mix of residential houses and small shops, so it’s always lively. We aren't tucked away in some huge industrial park; we are right here in the middle of things. The office is pretty basic. We have some desks, some computers, and a lot of folders. The main thing we do is figure out how to get goods from one side of Pune to the other, or even further out. Pune traffic is no joke, so a lot of our time is spent just looking at maps and talking to drivers on their mobiles. Sometimes it feels like we are just managing chaos, but we’ve been doing it long enough that it mostly works out. We don’t have a big marketing department writing fancy slogans for us. We just answer the phones and try to keep the shipments moving. Most of us take the local bus or drive our scooters to work. It’s a regular job for regular people. We have seen Chandan Nagar grow quite a bit since we started, with more traffic and more people moving in. We just keep our heads down and handle the logistics part of it. It’s not glamorous, but the work is steady and it keeps the city running in its own way.
