Our setup for Turbo Gears India Pvt Ltd. is located over at Shreeram Society, which is tucked away behind the Merchant Bank in Chandan Nagar. It’s a bit of a specific spot to find, right at Sr. No. 52/A, and we share the space with the Kotawale family's premises. It feels more like a local workshop than a big factory. We do a lot of the hands-on gear work right here. Being in a society means we have to be a bit careful about the noise sometimes, but everyone knows us. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and we don't bother with formal dress codes or long meetings. We just get the orders, check the specifications, and get to work. Pune has changed a lot over the years and Chandan Nagar has become much busier, but we’ve stayed in this same spot. It’s a practical location for us. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a chat while we are unloading materials. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we've been doing this for a long time and know the trade well. It's a simple operation where the focus is on the metal and the machinery. Most days are just about hitting the deadlines and making sure the measurements are right before anything leaves the gate. It's a decent way to make a living and we like the community here.
