If you know the Kothrud area, you probably know the bus depo. We are right near there in Shop No 8 inside the Lunawat Complex. Tulsy Plastics has been operating out of this small unit for a bit. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of the commuters and the local shops all packed together. The shop itself is filled with all sorts of plastic items, stacked almost to the ceiling sometimes. It can get a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle things around just to find a place to stand. I usually spend most of my time answering the phone or helping people find specific containers or household bits. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a mall. It’s more of a practical shop for people who live nearby or are passing through the depo. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but then the day gets busy and we forget. The floor is concrete and shows the wear of years of dragging boxes around. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us here, making sure the shelves aren't empty. People come in, ask for what they need, and we try to find it in the stacks. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from morning until we close the shop at night. We just try to keep things simple for everyone.
