Tukai Environment Foundation

Tukai Environment Foundation is located at Plot No. 11/B in Rajesh Nagar. It is not a big office, just a simple spot where we keep our tools and some saplings. We spend a lot of our time outside anyway. The neighborhood has a lot of concrete, so we try to find small patches of dirt where something can actually grow. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to make the air a bit better around here. Sometimes we go out to the local parks or the sides of the road to pick up trash that people leave behind. It is a bit of a never-ending job, honestly. People in Rajesh Nagar know us as the ones always carrying around bags or shovels. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big budget. Most of what we do comes out of our own pockets or from small bits of help from neighbors. There are a few trees we planted last year that are finally starting to look like something. That makes the long days in the sun feel like they were worth it. We also talk to the local kids about not throwing plastic everywhere. It is hard to change habits, but we keep at it. Our door is usually open if someone wants to help out or just needs a plant for their balcony. We just want the place to look a bit greener than it did yesterday.
