Down near Swargate in the Talegaon Dabhade area, you will find our workshop for Trw Automotive. It is a place filled with the smell of engine oil and the sound of metal tools clanking on concrete. We aren't a clean, white-walled dealership. Instead, we have grease on our hands and parts scattered across the workbenches. Most of our day is spent looking under hoods or crawling under chassis to figure out what is making that weird noise. The traffic around Swargate is always a mess, so we see a lot of people who are in a hurry to get their vehicles fixed. We do our best to get things moving, but sometimes parts take a while to arrive. Our floor is stained from years of spills, and the walls are covered with old calendars and charts. It is a tough job, especially when the weather gets hot, but it’s what we do. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait, though most just stand around and watch us work. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. People mostly find out about us by driving past or hearing from a friend. We take in all kinds of cars and trucks, whatever comes through the gate. It is a noisy, busy place, but it feels right to be working with our hands every single day until the sun goes down.
