Tofs Foundation

You'll find us in Kiwale, over by Lekha Farm near Dehu Road. We're in Building B of the Shagun complex, specifically in Flat 301. It's a residential area, so it's usually pretty quiet during the day while everyone is away at work. We set up the foundation here because it was convenient and affordable for us starting out. Pune is expanding so much that Kiwale doesn't feel like the edge of town anymore. Our office is basically a living room turned into a workspace. We have files stacked on the shelves and a couple of laptops on the table. It’s nothing like those corporate offices in the IT parks with the glass walls. We prefer it this way. It feels more real and approachable. We spend our time working on various projects, mostly trying to help people who don't have many resources to start with. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us moving. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything fancy. People usually hear about us from their friends or neighbors who have seen what we do. We try to be useful where we can without making a big fuss. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running a foundation, which takes up a good chunk of our time. But when we actually get to see a project through, it makes the desk work worth it. We're just a small group.
