Our place is in the ICC Trade Tower on Senapati Bapat Road. This is one of the more recognizable buildings in Pune, so it’s easy to find, but it still feels like a lot of effort just to get through the main gates and up the elevators. We are in A-101. It’s a large building with a lot of different companies, so there’s always a crowd of people in the lobby. Inside our office, things are pretty standard. We have rows of desks, some meeting rooms that are always booked, and a lot of computers. Since we’re part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, we deal with a lot of technical data and customer orders. The view from the windows shows the hills on one side and the city traffic on the other. It gets quite bright in the mornings, so we usually have the blinds halfway down to see the screens better. The canteen downstairs is where everyone ends up for a break, though some of us prefer to go out to the small stalls on SB Road for a quick bite or a tea. It’s a very fast-paced environment here. There’s always someone coming or going, couriers arriving with heavy packages, or technicians heading out to various labs. We don't spend much time on decorations; the walls are mostly covered with calendars and technical charts. It’s a professional space but it feels lived-in and busy every single day, which is how we like to work and keep things moving forward.
