The Gossypium Store Llp

The Gossypium Store is tucked away in Sadashiv Peth, Pune. We are at Shop No. 2, in the building marked H.No. 722Ab/43+44. Sadashiv Peth is one of those old-school areas where everything is a bit narrow and crowded. It has a lot of character though. We are right in the middle of all that history. The shop itself is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We focus on cotton and textiles, hence the name Gossypium. It is a quiet little shop most of the time, though we get busy in the evenings when people are out for a walk. We do not have any loud music or bright flashing signs. We prefer it that way. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this part of Pune for years. We spend our time folding fabrics and talking to people who come in. It is a very hands-on way to run a business. We do not use any fancy computer systems for every little thing. A lot of it is still done the old way. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but if you find your way to Sadashiv Peth, you are halfway there. We have been here long enough that the neighboring shopkeepers are like family. It is a nice spot for a store like ours. We just keep things simple and focus on the day-to-day work. It suits us.
