The Design Crew

Our setup at The Design Crew is a bit different because we work out of Flat No. 12. We are in the Swami Vrindavan building on Lane No 14 in Sai Nagar, Kondhwa Khurd. It’s more of a home-office feel than a traditional business. Since we are in a residential area, it’s usually pretty quiet, except for the occasional sound of neighbors or someone moving around in the lane. We’ve got our desks set up in what used to be a living room. It’s crowded with monitors and hard drives and a lot of sketchbooks that are half-full. We started as a small group of friends who just liked designing things, and we just stayed that way. There is no fancy sign out front, just the number on the door. We spend a lot of time drinking coffee and looking at layouts. Sometimes we work late into the night because that’s when it’s quietest and we can actually focus. We don't have a big pitch or a marketing deck to show people. We just show the work we’ve done. It’s a very casual environment. You might find a cat wandering around or someone cooking lunch in the kitchen nearby. We like it this way because it doesn't feel like a stuffy office. It’s just a place where we get our creative work done without any of the usual corporate fluff.
