The Design Cell

Our place is over near Mitra Mandal Chowk in the Supekar Wada area. We go by The Design Cell, and we’ve been operating out of this spot on Siddheshwar Road for a long time now. We are right by Balaji Medical, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. The office isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular door in a busy part of the neighborhood. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks surrounded by piles of paper and some old computers that still work well enough. The noise from the chowk can be a bit much during rush hour, but you get used to the sounds of the horns and the people outside. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door. Usually, one of us just looks up from whatever we are drawing and says hello. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and the equipment we need, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our days just trying to get through the work that needs finishing. Sometimes the tea guy from down the street brings us a round of chai, and we take a minute to breathe. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day. We don't worry about being polished or looking corporate. We just focus on the plans in front of us until it's time to lock up and head home.
