The Body Shop

Our spot is out in Hadapsar at Sarkuhej G Nagar Hospital 42. Being near the hospital means it’s always busy around here. There’s a lot of people walking by at all hours of the day. The shop itself is tucked in between a few other places. Inside, we keep the shelves stocked with all the usual soaps and lotions. It takes a lot of effort to keep everything in the right place because things get moved around a lot. We usually start the day early, around the time the first shift at the hospital changes. The air is always a bit dusty from the road construction nearby, so we are constantly wiping down the counters. It’s a small team of us here. We don't have a big office or anything, just the shop floor and a tiny space in the back for our bags. The floor tiles are a little old now, but they hold up well. Sometimes we just stand by the window and watch the traffic go by when it’s quiet. People come in looking for something specific or just to get away from the sun for a minute. We try to keep the place cool, though the AC acts up sometimes in the afternoon heat. It’s just a normal shop doing its thing in a busy part of town. We’ve got plenty of bottles to organize and prices to check for the people who stop by.
