Tek Components Pvt. Ltd.

Our spot is EL-31/15 in the J- Block of MIDC Bhosari. If you know this part of Pune, you know it’s all about industry. The streets are narrow and usually blocked by some delivery truck or another. Tek Components Pvt. Ltd. is just one of many units here, but we’ve made this space our own. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy to worry about that right now. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of assembly and the smell of metal. We have a small corner for lunch where we sit and talk about nothing in particular. It’s not a corporate vibe at all. We wear regular clothes and get our hands dirty when needed. The monsoon season is the toughest because the roads get messy, but we still make it in. We’ve had the same tea guy coming by for years. He knows how everyone likes it. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of, which usually piles up on the desks by Friday. We just deal with things as they come. It’s not about being the biggest; it’s just about being here and doing the work. You get to know the security guards and the guys at the tea stall. It’s a little community in the middle of all the factories. We just keep our heads down and get the components finished. It’s what we do here in Bhosari.
