Tata Steel Ltd.

Our office for Tata Steel Ltd. is located in Pune, specifically in the Wanowrie area. We are in B1/402 at Ganga Satellite. It’s a residential-style complex, so it doesn't feel like a cold corporate environment at all. We like working here because it’s a bit quieter than the main city center. The 411040 area has grown a lot lately, but our corner feels steady. Inside the office, it’s pretty standard. We have a few desks, some computers that have been through a lot, and a pantry that’s mostly used for making endless rounds of tea. We don't have a professional cleaning crew that comes in every hour, so things can look a bit lived-in. There are piles of files that we keep meaning to archive, and the chairs are comfortable enough but nothing fancy. We spend our days answering emails and coordinating with other branches. We aren't big on meetings that last for hours; we usually just talk things over while we're sitting at our desks. It’s an easygoing atmosphere, though we do get busy when there's a deadline. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which keeps everyone in a decent mood. We don't try to sound like a big global company when you call us. We just sound like people doing their jobs in a quiet part of Pune. It’s a relaxed but productive place to be throughout the week.
