Tata Ryerson Ltd is situated at H.No; 644 in Surajnagar, Shirur. We are quite close to Hotel Suraj Executive, which is the main thing people look for when they are trying to find us. Shirur is a bit of a drive from Pune city, and it has its own pace of life. The 412210 district is a mix of industrial stuff and more rural surroundings. Our building is a simple one, right there on the street. We have a small crew here. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers and checking the loads of steel that come and go. It can get pretty dusty with all the trucks on the road, but that’s just part of the job in this area. We have a small office space where we keep all the records. It’s not a place with air conditioning in every room or modern art on the walls. It’s a work site. We focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get things sorted before the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if there is a big shipment arriving. We know the people at the hotel and the local shops nearby. It’s a tight-knit little area. We just do our work, keep our books straight, and try to stay out of the heat. It’s a basic, functional spot for us.
