Tata Motors

We are located in Wagheshwer Wadi, over in Charholi Budruk in the Haveli area of Pune. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for the people living and working in this part of the district, we’re right where they need us. The shop is surrounded by a bit of open land, which is nice compared to the cramped city spots. We handle a lot of the Tata Motors vehicles that serve the local farms and small businesses around here. The daily routine is pretty much the same—open up early, check the schedule, and start on the first vehicle in the line. We have a lot of dirt and mud around the yard, especially after it rains, so things can get a bit messy. The staff here are all local guys who don't care much for formalities. We talk about the weather, the local news, and whatever is wrong with the engine in front of us. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with a TV. People usually just hang around or come back later when we’re done. It’s a practical way to run things, and it works for us. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get people back on the road without too much fuss. It’s just a normal workshop doing its part in the Charholi community every day, even when the work is harder than we expected at the start of the shift.
