Tata Motors

Nagpur can be incredibly hot, so most of our day is spent trying to stay cool while we work. We are located in the 400 032 zip code area. It’s a pretty central spot in India, which makes sense for a name like Tata Motors. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we keep the cars and the tools. We’ve got a small crew. We mostly focus on getting the paperwork right and making sure the vehicles out on the lot are in good shape. There’s no big marketing team here. It’s just us. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when we’re showing someone a car. Sometimes the computers go slow or the electricity flickers, but we just keep going. People in Nagpur are generally straightforward, and we try to be the same way. No fluff, no long-winded promises. We just tell people what we have and what it costs. At the end of the day, we lock up the gates and head home through the city traffic. It’s a routine we’ve had for years. It’s not a perfect setup, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We just focus on the day and try to get home before the evening rush becomes too much.
