Living and working in Pune means you’re always in the middle of some sort of rush. Our spot is at L1/101 in Nakshatram, right near Premlok Park in Chinchwadgaon. It’s a busy corner. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long, but you get used to it after a week. We’re not a huge office, just a group of people who know a lot about Tata cars. Most of the staff here takes the bus or rides a scooter to get in. We start the day with some quick talk about the news and then get straight to the tasks. The Nakshatram building is easy to find, which helps because the streets around here can be a maze for people visiting for the first time. We don't use a lot of big words or fancy sales tactics. If a car is good, we say so. If someone is looking for something specific, we look for it. It’s just regular work. Sometimes we order lunch together from the place down the street. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We have a lot of regular visitors from the local neighborhood who just stop by to say hello. It keeps the atmosphere friendly and less like a cold corporate office. We have a couple of plants in the corner that are struggling a bit, but we try to water them. That's just the way it goes here.
