Tata Motors

Out here in Mondalpara, things move at their own pace. We are located near Khirishtala in Sonarpur, which is a bit of a trek for some, but it’s home for us. The West Bengal weather keeps us on our toes, especially when the rains start and the roads get a bit muddy. Our Tata Motors branch is basically just a place where we get things done. We don't have those shiny glass walls you see in the big city showrooms. It's more of a practical setup. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the paperwork is sorted. People from the surrounding villages stop by quite often. Sometimes they just want to chat about the latest models they saw on TV. We try to keep the place tidy, but with the dust and the constant coming and going, it’s a losing battle sometimes. We’ve got a couple of old desks and a calendar on the wall that's usually a month behind. It’s a simple life. We work hard, deal with the heat, and try to make sure everyone who visits gets what they need without any fuss. Sonarpur is growing, so we see more faces every year. It’s nice to see the area changing while we stay right here in the same spot. We mostly drink chai from the stall across the road while waiting for the morning delivery to arrive. It's a good enough life for us.
