We are located at Bungalow Number 23 in the Telco Senior Officers Society in Pimpri. This is an area with a lot of history because Tata, or Telco as many still call it, is basically what built this part of Pune. Being situated inside the society gives our branch a very different feel. It’s quiet and full of trees, not like the usual dusty roadside shops. Most of the people who come to see us are either employees of the plant or people who have lived in Pimpri-Chinchwad their whole lives. There is a lot of respect for the brand here, and we try to live up to that in a very quiet, unassuming way. Our office is more like a home than a business. We have old wooden desks and fans that have been humming for years. We don't really do much "selling" in the traditional sense. People already know what they want; they just need someone to help them get it sorted. We spend a lot of time just chatting about the old days of the factory and how much the city has grown. It’s a very comfortable place to be. We aren't in a rush to grow or move to a bigger building. We like it here in the society, being part of the community that has supported Tata for generations. It’s just how things are in this part of Pimpri.
