You can find us in Yamage, which is part of the Kagal taluka in Kolhapur. We are right in the thick of things where the rural roads meet the bigger routes. This branch of Tata Motors is really just a place where local drivers and owners come when they need something sorted out. Kagal is a busy area for transport, so we see a lot of action. The building is a bit older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time out in the yard or at the front desk talking to customers who are usually in a hurry to get back on the road. It’s a lot of work, but we like the pace. The air here always smells a bit like diesel and dust, which I guess is just part of the job. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us wipe our hands on a rag and come over to see what’s up. We try to keep things straightforward. No one has time for long explanations or fancy brochures around here. We know the local routes and the kind of trouble the hills can cause for the engines. It’s a practical life. We’ve known some of these drivers for years, so it’s more like helping out friends than just running a business.
