Tata Motors Maval Foundry

We are based out of Chinchwad in Pune, specifically over at Ajit Park. Our office is Flat No. 3 in the Udyognagar area. It’s a very industrial part of the city, which makes sense because we are Tata Motors Maval Foundry. Being a foundry means things can get pretty gritty. It’s not a clean desk job at all. There is a lot of heat and metal and hard work involved every single day. We are right in the middle of the manufacturing hub, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. The pin code is 411033 if you’re trying to look it up on a map. It’s a functional space. We don’t have a lot of decorations or fancy signs. We just have what we need to keep the foundry operations running smoothly. Most of the guys here have been working with metal for a long time. It’s honest work and it gets tiring, but it's what we know best. The Maharashtra heat doesn’t help much in the summer months, especially near the furnaces, but we just get on with it. Living and working in Chinchwad means you’re used to the industrial pace. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to make sure the castings and the foundry work are done right before the day ends and we can go home. It is just a normal day at the plant for us.
